Primeval Armor Remnants are a special reward trophy that is used to upgrade the visual appearance (but not the stats) of the armor of all Nightfall heroes: Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Acolyte Jin, Acolyte Sousuke, Tahlkora, Zhed Shadowhoof, Margrid the Sly, Master of Whispers, Norgu, Goren, General Morgahn, Zenmai, Olias, and Razah.
Acquisition[ | ]
- Random reward after defeating one of the Lords of Anguish or Mallyx the Unyielding in the Domain of Anguish. (They do not drop, but instead appear directly in the player's inventory.)
- Random reward for opening a Coffer of Whispers.
Usage[ | ]
Applying Primeval Armor Remnants to a hero's armor will upgrade their armor to the hero version of the "Primeval Armor" look. (Note that the hero version looks different from the player version.)
To apply the armor you need to visit the NPC Armorsmith of Whispers in Gate of Anguish.
Notes[ | ]
- Once you upgrade a hero's armor, you can switch back and forth between existing upgrades and the default, but you don't recover the Armor Remnants.
