- Tricky one. Carven Effigys are not apparently undead - they do not take double damage from holy sources in my tests, which would mean awakened aren't all in a sub-category of undead. You could argue that Carven Effigys are not awakened and should be excluded, but as they always hang around with awakened it seems a bit silly to seperate them. - They shouldn't. There is a separate hunt for Carven Effigies. I say that this, in addition to the lack of "Awakened" in their names and the clear difference in their appearances makes it clear that the effigies are not Awakened and the awakened themselves should be classified as Undead.
