A road sign is a stationary object that helps players navigate a zone.
All portals have a road sign marking where the portal leads to. Oftentimes a point of interest within a zone (such as a small village or settlement) is also marked by a road sign. Other road signs might be directional pointers, informing the player which path to follow to reach a certain location.
Some towns also employ road signs to mark sections of the town where NPCs offering similar services gather.
- Barracks or Training Yard - the skill trainer.
- Crafter's Corner - Weaponsmith and Armor Crafter.
- Merchant's Row - merchant and most traders.
In towns and outposts (but not mission locations), the road sign marking the portal to the explorable area is also where the standard henchmen gather (ie. excluding the special events henchmen) in a town or outpost. If there are more than one explorable area, the henchmen typically gather around the one that is intuitively the "primary" one.
