Desert Griffons are melee attacking Griffons in the Crystal Desert.

- The Scar (east of Destiny's Gorge)
- Vulture Drifts (north of Dunes of Despair)

- There are several suitable places for farming Desert Griffons and their trophy drop, Iridescent Griffon Wings.
- Vulture Drifts, near the portals to Skyward Reach; few griffons but easy rezoning.
- Dunes of Despair, (in between the nearby teleporters); 10 groups (plus Sand Elementals)
- The Scar, north-northeast.
- Skyward Reach, outside Augury Rock, along the long narrow strip of land to the south.
