Energy management (also E management) is the process of controlling energy use and recovery so the player always has energy when it is required.
Methods of energy management[edit | edit source]
Energy management is accomplished with a combination of three primary methods:
- Reducing skill costs. Examples include Expertise, Glyph of Energy, and Way of the Empty Palm.
- Energy gain. Examples include Auspicious Incantation, Prepared Shot, Ether Prism and Assassin's Promise.
- Passive management. Using signets to do the job of a spell will allow energy to regenerate, thus allowing more spells to be cast. Examples include replacing spells like Orison of Healing with Signet of Rejuvenation and/or Signet of Devotion.
