Description

Celestial Compasses are small, flat, disc-shaped focus items which float above the wielder's hand. The body of the focus is a metallic disc composed of four intricately etched pieces which float together. These sections encircle three softly glowing, light blue symbols, and are themselves ringed within a circle of runes which glow the same light blue. The focus is animated with the symbols spinning within the disc and with the blue glow of the runes and symbols growing and fading; the outer circle of runes does not spin.

Dye

Dye affects the metal disc, tinting the edges to the color applied and the inner design darker or lighter depending on the dye applied; the glowing blue runes are unaffected. Dye mixes lighten the overall color. It is dyed yellow by default.

• The design of this weapon is one of the winning entries in ArenaNet's second Design-a-Weapon Contest which ran in 2007. It was designed by Anthony Lopes.
