Notes[ | ]

  • Unlike most Binding Rituals, Gaze of Fury summons the Spirit of Fury at the target spirit's location.
  • With good timing, this can be cast on a spirit like Union or Shelter right before it dies, keeping pressure on enemies and sacrificing a spirit that would have died anyway. You can also time the death of Restoration this way, for a controlled AoE resurrection.
  • This skill is affected by Soul Twisting.
  • This skill is very useful during the Sunjiang District mission in Factions and the Finding a Purpose quest in Nightfall. Being able to destroy enemy spirits allows players to move through these much faster by saving the time that would have been spent killing the spirits normally.
  • You may cast this skill while an enemy in range is using a binding or nature ritual that will complete before Gaze of Fury. The enemy's resulting spirit will be destroyed immediately after Gaze of Fury completes. If that enemy is interrupted, however, Gaze of Fury will cancel before it completes.
  • You do not need to target a spirit in order to use Gaze of Fury, as long as there is another spirit in range. The nearest spirit to your location will be destroyed.
