Notes[edit | edit source]
- A dungeon chest will spawn upon defeating this boss and his accompanying group of monsters containing one item (gold weapon, unique, Onyx Gemstone, or diamond).
- Backfire is incredibly useful against Forgewight. Much like his lower level counterparts Korr, Living Flame and the Dasha Vestibule version of Kormab, Burning Heart he will repeatedly use Searing Flames and Glowing Gaze for very large damage spikes. Its use of a snare in Deep Freeze combined with Meteor Shower can be deadly without interrupts or evasion.
- It is possible for a Splinter Weapon ranger to take out most of the enemies in Forgewight's group simply by using the shoot and run strategy from the Stygian Veil. A speed boost is not required.
- It is possible for a team with full 60dp to repeatedly attempt to kill the patrols and the final group with the Forgewight. The key is to get the Stone Summit to exhaust their Resurrection Signets, then kill the Stone Summit with reusable resurrection skills. The members of the Stone Summit with said skills include the Stone Summit Cleavers with Signet of Return and the Stone Summit Dominators with Resurrection Chant.
