Guidelines[]

Sections[]

Location box[]

This box should have the basic info for the explorable area, including the picture from the world map, the campaign, the type of location (Explorable Area), region where are is located, and all the areas that you can get to by exiting this area.

Description[]

Summary consisting of details of the landscape, the area's cardinal or ordinal location in the region, generalization of species of monsters found in area, etc.

Exits[]

List the areas to which you can exit plus the general direction to which the exit can be found, separating them into subsections Towns and Outposts, Explorable areas and Dungeons. If a subtitle would be empty, for example no town exits, then the Towns and Outposts subtitle should be omitted. Mission locations are considered outposts for the purpose of this classification.

If any exits have certain requirements (quests/missions that must be completed first, quests that must be active, etc...) make note of that after the exit area's name in parenthesis.

Points of Interest[]

List all God's statues or shrines in no particular order, but keeping in mind to list shrines of the same type together. The cardinal/ordinal direction gives a sense of where the shrine is located. If NPCs located at these shrines offer any special activites, such as Nightfall hunts/bounties, they should be noted in parenthesis next to the shrine location.

Other points of interest are to be placed in no particular order and just the name will suffice. The article on that place will have its own additional information regarding it. Example: Qi Falls.

NPCs[]

List all the NPCs found in the explorable area. Listing in priority: Collectors, Crafters, Merchants and Traders, and Various. NPCs should be listed alphabetically first by type then alphabetically by their name. Various NPCs include all NPCs without one the above grouped types. This includes general NPCs, quest NPCs, priests located at shrines, etc. Any NPC that only appears under certain conditions, such as quests, should be noted as such in parenthesis.

Bestiary[]

Separated into subsections: Monsters, Bosses, and Pets (if applicable).

Monsters and Bosses should preferably be grouped by species. Enemies should be listed in profession order: {{w}}, {{r}}, {{mo}}, {{n}}, {{me}}, {{e}}, {{a}}, {{rt}}, {{p}}, {{d}}. . Levels should be specified for each enemy after the profession, followed by the name. Bosses should be the only enemies with Elites specified. Enemies that only appear during certain events, such as quests, should be explained as such in parentheses.

Quests[]

An included link to the explorable area's quest page should go here if there is one, or a list in the form of Character name: Quest name if there is no separate quest page. If no quests are given in this explorable area, this section should be omitted. If a particular quest is a primary quest, note it in parenthesis after it.

Notes[]

Any other notes can be added here. If there are no notes, this section should be omitted.

Trivia[]

Trivia notes can be added here. Omit if this section is empty.

Categories[]

All the categories must be listed right at the bottom. For each explorable area, two categories are expected: a category for the region it is in (such as [[Category:Cormyr]]), and the location type within a campaign (such as [[Category:Explorable areas (Forgotten Realms)]]).
