Full: Create a level 5 Jack Frost. This creature deals 50 damage with snowballs. This creature dies after 60 seconds.
Concise: Creates a level 5 Jack Frost (60 second lifespan). It deals 50 damage with snowballs.
Notes
- It is not certain if the Jack Frost creature summoned with this skill is actually a spirit. Like other binding rituals, the Jack Frost skill will kill any allied Jack Frost "spirits" within range, and, unlike other spirits, the Jack Frost "spirit" is a fleshy creature, so it is vulnerable to Disease. Also unlike other spirits, the Jack Frost "spirit" is vulnerable to hexes and conditions.
- The "spirit" attacks with the Snowball skill.
- The "spirit" is actually called "Jack Frost" rather than "Spirit of Jack Frost", it has the appearance of an Enchanted Snowman henchman.
- Since the "spirit" cannot move, a Necromancer's Holiday Blues skill can defeat the "spirit" easily.
- The Jack Frost "spirit" has a base Health of ~150 and is affected by Spawning Power.
- The Jack Frost "spirit" is not affected by Yuletide.
Trivia
- Jack Frost is an elfish creature who personifies crisp, cold, winter weather; a variant of Father Winter (AKA Old Man Winter). He is a figure some believe to have originated in Viking folklore.
- The name Jack Frost may be referring to William "Jack" Frost, a character developed by R.D. Wingfield in his Novel "A Touch of Frost".
