The Melodic Gaki is a legendary creature rumored to be a myth. It dwells in the Petrified Forest, and you are required to kill it and acquire its horn for the Melodic Gaki Flute quest.

- The Melodic Gaki is not a proper boss, and as such it does not give a morale boost, nor can Clamor of Souls be captured from it.
- In Japanese legends, Gaki are the spirits of greedy or otherwise sinful people who are punished with insatiable hunger for a specific substance (for instance, corpses).
