|This article is about the Mursaat Bows from the Bonus Mission Pack which includes the properly named Mursaat Hornbow. For the Hornbow skin which is commonly referred to as the Mursaat Hornbow, see Hornbow.|
Description[edit | edit source]
The Mursaat Bows are a type of Bow available as a reward for completing the mission, The Rise of the White Mantle, one of the missions available in the Bonus Mission Pack. There are five different types of Mursaat Bow, one for each of the five bow classes. They follow the naming convention of "Mursaat <bow type>." There are two skins used by these bows. The first is shared between the flatbow, hornbow and longbow variants. The second is shared between the recurve bow and shortbow. These bows are automatically customized for the character who obtains them, and each has an empty inscription slot. They cannot be salvaged for materials.
The material from which they are made is reminiscent to that of the Jade Armor and Mursaat buildings in the advanced areas of Prophecies (e.g. Ring of Fire Islands). Unlike Jade Armors and the original Mursaat Hammer, however, the bonus Mursaat weapons lack a crystalline refraction effect.
Location[edit | edit source]
In exchange for an authorized copy of Saul's Story.
Dye[edit | edit source]
Dye changes the color of the entire bow, but not the inventory icon. Its default dye is Yellow.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The skin displayed on the top is for Longbows, Hornbows, and Flatbows.
- The bottom skin is displaying Shortbows and Recurve Bows.
- This is not to be confused with the "Mursaat Hornbow", a different skin which existed before the Bonus Mission Pack came out and is only available as a random drop from Mursaat/Jades in the Southern Shiverpeaks, and on the Ring of Fire Islands.
- The bows have a similar floating stone construction as a Storm Artifact.
