- This boss is hard to catch since he shares four locations with two other bosses. But you could use a small trick by leaving Ember Light Camp and going just to the left of the gate, if you look in the direction of his South-West spawn location, which is very close to the Ember Light Camp itself and highlight targets, you can tell if the boss has spawned in that one location. This may take many attempts, but at least you can be sure you get the skill.
- This creature's name is a play on words, derived from "Nail, Tooth, and Claw" (Turned into "Nail Claw Tooth and").
- Like all Hydra bosses, he has three names, one for each head.
- Unlike other Mahgo Hydras, he can be knocked down.
