Party Search panel
The Party Search panel is a feature added to the game with the December 20, 2006, game update. It allows players to search for a party to join ("LFG"), or for other playing to join their party ("LFM") for quests and missions. It also can be used for trading, hunting (e.g. for elite skills), and guild requests or recruitment.
In December 21, 2006 game update a modified version for Europe was released, featuring an option to filter out other language districts because of the many different languages on an European server.
As of the July 17, 2007 game update, any time you enter text into the Party Search panel it will be broadcasted to All chat in the following format: <character name>: Party Search - <text entered>.
Instructions[edit | edit source]
Party Tab[edit | edit source]
In this tab you can search for combatants. You can use up to 31 characters to describe your request in the description field. The dropdown menu let you specify the request type (Mission, Quest, Hunt, Guild and Trade). After that you can show your request on party panel by clicking on the Seek party checkbox. You can activate this checkbox by pressing Enter in the description field, too.
Europeans only: "Show districts in other language" let you show all searches regardless of district's language. The collapsible purpose groups show (x/y) whereas x counts searches from the same and y all searches of all language districts.
Now a detailed description of all used icons and colors:
|You requested an invitation to an existing group|
|You are invited to a group, double click or Join button joins you to it.|
|Both players are located in the same district.|
|The other party is in another district. If you join, the smaller party will travel to the larger party's district. If both parties have the same size, the invited party will travel.|
Heroes Tab[edit | edit source]
- This tab shows all available heroes for your character. You can select a hero and click on Add hero to add him/her to your party or Kick to dismiss him/her.
- The Heroes tab is greyed out for characters who have not recruited heroes.
- If an already acquired Hero is unable to be recruited for any reason, double clicking the Hero's name will not allow the Hero to be added to the party.
You don't need to use the buttons, simple double clicking on a hero's name will toggle between in and out of the party.
Henchman Tab[edit | edit source]
