Notes
- This skill is very effective in dealing large amounts of damage to a foe with little adrenaline consumed. Combine with Warrior's Cunning or the Necromancer skill Rigor Mortis to prevent it from being blocked. Use fast attacks skills such as Frenzy, Flurry, "I Will Avenge You!", Tiger Stance or the ranger skill Tiger's Fury to attack faster and thus charge up adrenaline faster. If your only goal is to attack faster to charge up Quivering Blade, then Flurry's downside may not be that damaging, but could lower your DPS all the same.
- Other tactics include skills that aid in the gain of adrenaline, such as "For Great Justice!" and "To the Limit!".
- Of course, using Quivering Blade while you know there is a strong possibility it will be blocked, then using Plague Touch creates a win-win scenario - you either deal extra damage, or daze your target.
- Using Quivering Blade with builds that have no spells also negates the drawback of being dazed.
