Snow Beasts are huge animals found in the wilds of the Shiverpeak Mountains. The Stone Summit dwarves capture and tame these beasts in order to use their massive size to their advantage. The snow beasts are reportedly starved and mistreated until ready to carry the Stone Summit into battle. They are controlled by their riders using a system of heavy chains and shackles. As feral or untamed snow beasts are never seen in the game, it is assumed they are either very rare or are extinct in the wild.
