Bug
- The damage type of this skill is supposed to be piercing damage, but it ignores any armor bonus/penalty vs physical damage. It also does not trigger Essence Bond.
Acquisition
- Tyria
- Vulg Painbrain (Ring of Fire)
- Cantha
Notes
- This skill is not the best choice of elite for a trapping ranger, unless you are luring the monsters onto a huge stack of traps. Oath Shot, "Victory is Mine!" or Trapper's Focus are better.
- Co-ordinate the use of this skill with a team member who has Brambles.
- Unlike other sources of damage, Traps always have a damage level of 0, incapable to be scaled up. This means you will only see the full damage of the trap if it hits the enemy at a location with 0 armor (for example, hitting the head of someone wearing the Dragon Mask, except for dust trap).
