Reward[edit source]

So it seems you can get some of the old winter 2005 items as the peppermint shield and gingerbread focus are identical to last year as the reward for this years quest. --Lemming64 12:58, 22 December 2006 (CST)

I'm guessing that the candy cane weapons will be the same too. Foo 13:29, 22 December 2006 (CST)
I wasnt around last year, were they customized to the character that did the quest? - Maleki
no. --Lemming64 16:57, 22 December 2006 (CST)

It appears that this quest cannot be completed like the Snowman quest (grouping with someone doing the final part of the quest). I was unable to get the quest to complete with my monk in this manner, but had not talked to Vehemus initially. Is this the case or can characters talk to Vehemus in town, then group with someone doing the final part to get credit? HanokOdbrook 15:08, 26 December 2006 (CST)

I tried it too and forgot to talk to to Vehemus before doing the quest. So I restarted it. I talked to Vehemus initially but still could not complete the quest. So to me it really seems one has to go through every single step shown in the questlog. tapps75 19:31, 28 December 2006 (CST)

Fisherman and Defend North Kryta Province quest[edit source]

I have the Defend North Kryta Province quest active. Forgot about it, actually. I went to collect my termites, entering from Nebo Terrace after completing The Greatest Snowman Ever Made quest. The fisherman was there, along with a host of Titans. Because of this, I am changing the article. Screen shot of fisherman and titan together available here. The Titans also scared Koss so much he instantly jumped to level 19. His poor Lion took a major beating though. Queen Schmuck 17:16, 29 December 2006 (CST)

"Leaf on the Wind" -- from Serenity?[edit source]

Wash: I am a leaf on the wind - watch how I soar. Very similar to the dialog here.

WiK conflict?[edit source]

Is it just me, or is this one hard to complete with WiK active? Skorzena is dead when I get to her...Yamagawa 06:49, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

I'm getting that too; she doesn't seem to defend herself at all for ages, and even when I rush there and start taking out Calamitous's group, she then rushes in and gets herself killed. I've nearly managed to save her, after many attempts, but she then died just before the end. I might have to start taking Monk as a secondary so I can (inefficiently) Prot-Bond her whilst the rest of the group takes out the enemy. -- Screams 00:46, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Ah, I've just figured it out on my last attempt. Calamitous is there, killing Nobleman Daltain's group as I arrived, and then turns on Skorzena. Her timing and combat sequence is set for the confrontation with Daltain, and she gets quickly killed by Calamitous's group. Trying Prot-Bonding now...wish me luck! -- Screams 00:52, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Ok...solution is to rush to Skorzena, wait for Daltain to get killed, then talk to her before she gets killed herself. -- Screams 01:05, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
