PvP newbie question: Is "Death match" the official term in GuildWars? Isn't it "Annihilation" or "Kill Count"? --Tetris L 10:01, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Being a FPS player, I always refer to it as Deathmatch, but the official term appears to be "Kill Count." Annihilation is to kill everybody on the other team. — Lunarbunny 12:39, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
It used to have no ingame name till the PvP preview event, Death match is just the common name for that type of match established in other FPS games. I guess we can move the article to Annihilation and make Death Match a redirect. --Xeeron 12:56, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm an FPS player too (or at least I used to be). The GuildWars equivalent of Deathmatch seems to be Kill Count. But the article describes Annihilation rather than Deathmatch. The FPS equivalent of Annihilation would be "Last Man Standing". At least that's what it's called in Unreal Tournament, and I think in Quake too. Anyway ... this article should be moved to Annihilation. --Tetris L 13:52, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
