Rock Candy text bugs

Just tested, and the text bug still exists on the live servers. And I know what the code is supposed to do, it just isn't being interpreted correctly for some reason. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 20:31, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

Any idea why? Have you reported it in the Bug wiki feedback yet? I can't reproduce this. Also, you may want to word the bug notes differently, as it must be rare to see this, considering I've never heard of this in 9 months of candy's existence. Current wording implies it's always the case. RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG 23:27, January 18, 2010 (UTC)
Does it always happen for you, Ish, or is it just sometimes? --Gimmethegepgun 00:16, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
It's not like I routinely go around dropping my rock candies just to pick them up again. I tested them back when that bug was first posted here, just to verify it, and they were indeed bugged then. I tested again a few days ago when I implemented the new sweets/party infoboxes, and they were still bugged. And obviously I tested earlier today to get that screenshot. They've always been bugged for me. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 00:47, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Seems pretty consistent to me. Jink 00:48, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
Bluerocktesting
Tested with green candy earlier and it wasn't bugged. Tested with red just now and it was bugged... O_O I'm going to report this on the forum. RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG 02:27, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
This seems to just be a bug from the result of having color code (<c= >) disabled in chat. 79.174.64.146 06:02, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
I don't see a setting for that anywhere on my options panel. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken 14:52, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
It must be some kind of internal setting, not something players can control. I reported it to Anet on their forum and linked to the image here. Now it's up to them to fix it or consider it too minor (how often do people drop their candy and target call it, anyway?) to fix. RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG 14:53, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
