Mist Oracle[edit source]
Quote from the article, copied straight out of the manual: "Mist Oracle, the highest position in the bureaucracy" This isn't the Oracle of the Mists we're talking about here, is it? -- 04:20, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- Well, the article is actually my lousy translation of the Japanese GW official site. I have no clue what the manual says. The name does sound sufficiently similar that they are probably the same entity, though the Suun article gives no hints about it. -User:PanSola (talk to the ) 04:59, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
- I think this kind of shameless palgiarism of the names of "holy" things into ministry beaurcracy is the main reason he hates them. I think he has nothing to do with them. The head of the ministry is as much a real Oracle as the ministry of Water is in charge of making the rain fall. :) --Karlos 06:55, 12 June 2006 (CDT)
- It's also possible that the oracle is the nominal head of the Celestial Ministry but doesn't have any more real control over it than the Emperor, which is one interpretation of the babelfish translation of the information on the Japanese website. I suspect that Suun recruited people such as Nika and the Adepts to perform the duties that the Ministry has been neglecting. -- Gordon Ecker 04:17, 8 September 2006 (CDT)
Factions Manuscript[edit source]
When I bought Factions it came with a small manuscript that has a lot of info on it. It states that the Ministry of Water also controls the moon's rise and set. It also gave me better descriptions of the Celestial Ministy in General and the 4 ministries. Should I put them on the discussion and wait for your guys approval?
