There's an alternate skin for this, specifically one where the blades have sections cut out of them, making them look much more fragile/elegant.

I've put a screenshot up Alt elonian daggers but I'm not quite sure how to add it to the weapon-template, or indeed the typical way of mentioning there's another skin. The alternate skin dropped in Arkjok Ward, if that's important.

I've added a Notes category with your picture in it on the main page. I don't believe this is entirely correct, but at least this way people will see that there are different skins without having to check the talk page, and perhaps someone will eventually format it correctly. BTW, what rarity level were your versions? I too found a pair, yet mine has a different skin than both yours and the original ones(my pic added to main article too). Mine were purple, were yours gold? If so, that means this is the second type of daggers that have different skins based on rarity(Steel Daggers have 3 different skins based on item rarity). Perhaps people should keep an eye on ruby, bronze, jeweled, and other Elonian dagger types to see if they have multiple skins as well. DKS01 06:41, 20 November 2006 (CST)
All the white ones I've seen are the solid type. -- Gordon Ecker 04:48, 5 January 2007 (CST)
Just got a gold notched type, just thought i'd mention it, as for formatting check the thread for Ancient Daggers --Konzetsu 07:50, 9 April 2007 (CDT)
Uhm. I tried to clean up the article.. am confused about the skin and dropping? Like does the skin drop according to rarity? or it is all random? I uploaded the images as white/purple/gold.. but I'm confused.. as to what people said above in this discussion. Either way someone please clean up the article as accordingly. ♥LadyT♥ 18:11, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
There should be no confusion. White and blue drops are the plain skin, purple drops are the "holed" skin, gold drops are the "notched" skin. DKS01 00:54, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
Im sure ive had a purple "nothced" one before but i think the majority isright in the article--Diddy Bow 06:08, 15 June 2007 (CDT)
You probably had a holed one, just glancing at them they look very similar to the notched ones in inventory. DKS01 08:40, 15 June 2007 (CDT)

I do have a purple "notched" version that my Zenmai uses and I had a blue "holed" version. If anyone doesn't belive me contact me in game and ill show you.Shark Ranger Guy 20:39, 21 November 2007 (UTC)Shark Ranger Guy
