Good Demon Hunting?[]

This is not a new quest........its been under this name since the 21st. Or is it listed as new because its not completable? --Mwpeck 20:53, 30 November 2006 (CST)

my guess would be that they listed it as new because it is now completable but I havent been ingame to check yet. --FireFox Firefoxav 20:56, 30 November 2006 (CST)
It was added "unofficialy" and was broken. They then removed it and now it's added and working as intended. I added it, because it is a new quest in the term that it is available again, and finishable. If you find Quest number 7, you could remove it :P — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 21:17, 30 November 2006 (CST)
Firefox, I'm removing the 'sic' again, because the Game Updates section of the GW website has the skill name shown exactly as it is in game. Since this means there is no "uncorrected error", there is no need for "sic". Does that definition work for you? Since it has been recorded incorrectly on the GuildWiki page, I'll be fixing that too. --User:ImbrilShadowfire Imbril Shadowfire 21:24, 30 November 2006 (CST)
The Official website had the skill name displayed without the quotation marks, but was later updated --FireFox Firefoxav 21:35, 30 November 2006 (CST)
Ok, thanks for the info....I can now complete it on my warrior. :P --Mwpeck 21:26, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Anyone notice anything broken with Ghost-in-the-Boxes now? I was standing in Kamadan international 1 and saw a few just floating around forever. A guildie unleashed 3 more which are still just standing there as well.--24.250.248.144 21:40, 30 November 2006 (CST)

AFK Lightbringer farming[]

Does the thing about the enemies preferring new targets mean no more AFK LB farming?

I have yet to find out. However, i think that they meant to say, that Monsters will prefer targets near then, instead of running away from a group. Think Guard and Aggressive Hero styles. — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 21:43, 30 November 2006 (CST)
LB Farming was nerfed completely. -Zinger314 21:53, 30 November 2006 (CST)
I beg to differ I was doing it all last night in Torment realm thing.

LB Farming was nerfed. Just Tested Verfied ~Stevo101

In what way did it get nerfed?
Monsters summoned by Call of Torment no longer give LB points Stevo101 22:03, 30 November 2006 (CST)Stevo101
We'll have more ways to get points come tomorrow's update anyway :) — User:Kyrasantae kyrasantae 22:31, 30 November 2006 (CST)
I HOPE! I'm 40,000 points behind some people -_- — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 23:08, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Ghost-in-the-Box Glitch[]

I have some screenies of Kamadan American District 4 for memories. Probably the best thing to ever happen. Countless ghosts floating around. It's like a party. Cutsman 22:36, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Heh, I'd like to see one of those if you don't feel like sharing ;) --User:ImbrilShadowfire Imbril Shadowfire 22:38, 30 November 2006 (CST)
I dont have a screen from in town, but from the AMP guild, image is a little large, so here's a link to it: 17546_gallery.gif
Also have one of the beach, with ghosts aligned to spellout AMP......--Mwpeck 23:07, 30 November 2006 (CST)
I think the new update has fixed this. At least after I updated the ones I saw in Kamadan were gone.  :( --Rainith 23:12, 30 November 2006 (CST)
Yes, it did....right after I took that screenshot, I left to show a guildie some things, came back and there were twice as many as what my screenshot above shows. Kinda funny cause by that time I still hadnt gotten the update, but some of the others did, so they saw nothing and I saw a huge army of undead. :P --Mwpeck 23:17, 30 November 2006 (CST)
[1] This one is the LYS guild showing off their spirit. Shortly thereafter they showed their impeccable timing and rspiked me(rank spike =P). And here is a picture of the storage area party [2]. It was pretty fun. Cutsman 23:58, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Miscellaneous[]

I was just checking out the Priest of Balthazar to take a look at Razah, and I found out that I could click and drag on the portrait of the hero in the window to rotate and zoom in on them. Has this been there all along and I just never noticed it? — User:Kyrasantae kyrasantae 23:26, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Interesting info....If this is old, I never knew or heard about it. Might be something new. --Mwpeck 23:28, 30 November 2006 (CST)
AFAIK, this has always been there. Lemming 23:37, 30 November 2006 (CST)

Exclamation mark[]

So what happens if you have an NPC that you need to talk to as part of a quest that you have, but who also has a different quest to offer you? Do you get the new arrow or the old exclamation mark? --Rainith 23:46, 30 November 2006 (CST)

I dunno, I didn't actually investigate that. --User:ImbrilShadowfire Imbril Shadowfire 00:00, 1 December 2006 (CST)
Remember the Keeper in the Gate of Torment that has the Master Quest? Well, I had that quest in the Quest log, and when I talked to him he offered me a new one. He had the Arrow all the time. I guess the Arrow takes priority, but that may depend on the situation. — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 04:06, 1 December 2006 (CST)
Arrow seems to have priority, but I observed the exclamation mark taking over the arrow when the npc had a dialogue that occured when I arrived at the location and a new quest became available after it.
Didn't verify that but it could be for primary quest only. Neck 04:47, 1 December 2006 (CST)
Dont think so, just did some Kilroy chest farming and he had the down arrow above his head at the end. --Mwpeck 14:55, 2 December 2006 (CST)
I've seen it both ways. I haven't been able to discern any pattern as of yet (if there is one). I had a primary quest that meant I needed to talk to someone who offered a non-primary quest (which had nothing to do with the primary quest I was on) and the npc had an exclamation mark over him. Other times I've had quests that had me talk to people who would offer other quests and they would have an arrow over them. --Rainith 00:06, 3 December 2006 (CST)

Energizing Finale[]

YAY!! — Skuld 03:01, 1 December 2006 (CST)

Darn it!It's Energizing with a Z! Lousy Brits and their poor spelling! :P--Karlos 06:20, 1 December 2006 (CST)

Bit pointless - Us brits have to put up with grAy giants. That's a stupid spelling.

Missing?[]

one of the quests in istan appears to have been re-removed. i completed riseing sun and puuba will not give up the other quest. apparantly, looking from the discussion page about the quest, im not the only one. -TehBuG 07:01, 1 December 2006 (CST)-

  • Agreed, I just did Rising Sun as I want all quests finished in the game, and Re-enlist Rojis is not available. At least not from Puuba. -Lavindathar 14:28, 1 December 2006 (GMT)-

Gate of Pain / Gate of Fear[]

I'm 100% sure that I got the quest "Into the Fire" from the Forgotten Keeper in the Gate of Pain. I also got the quest "Last Patrol" from the Forgotten Keeper in the Gate of Fear. Can anyone else confirm that it's possible to get it from either one? I wish I had taken screenshots of it - you can go look in Gate of Pain and see the NPC for yourself.... --LoKi 11:14 1 December 2006 (EST)

Jagged Bones[]

What changed with respect to this skill? That you now can also target minions controlled by party members? --CoRrRan 11:19, 1 December 2006 (CST)

I believe you could cast it on enemy minions before the update — Skuld 11:20, 1 December 2006 (CST)
Or cast it only on your minions, and not minions of other party members... — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 12:42, 1 December 2006 (CST)
I believe I had a few cases where I mistargeted it on an ally and it would still cast, though they wouldn't get enchanted or whatever. I never did figure out who actually got the enchantment when that happened, but I do recall (albeit cloudily) that the spell did go through. Which would be incorrect behavior. — 130.58 (talk) 14:27, 1 December 2006 (CST)

The new quests[]

How do we know if Good Demon Hunting IS (or ISN'T) one of the new 6? Also, where is the 6th (or 5th and 6th for that matter) --Karlos 11:57, 1 December 2006 (CST)

See the talk at the top of this page ("Good Demon Hunting?"). Long story short: We don't, but it's the first time you can complete this quest, which means it's "New". If you find 2 more, then you could remove it :P — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 12:42, 1 December 2006 (CST)
Oh, I don't want to remove it. I think it IS one of the six, I started this thread cause someone removed it just a few hours ago, again. So, I just want people to talk instead of coming out of left field to do stuff (which someone then comes out of right field to undo a few hours later). --Karlos 14:06, 1 December 2006 (CST)

More Lightbringer Farming[]

It is CONFIRMED that Roaring Ethers which have been resurrected by their comrades still do give extra points. --Macros† (talk/contribs) 11:24, 2 December 2006 (CST)

yeah, but 1: only lvl24 Roaring ethers have res sig and 2: its res sig! wouldnt that prevent AFK LB-ing? -TehBuG-
Well, you never could AFK farm them in the first place. I was merely posting this in case there was any questions. --Macros† (talk/contribs) 09:25, 3 December 2006 (CST)
