The Party Search panel is now sorted into collapsable sections by purpose. Also, an option is added to show or hide parties located in districts for other languages. This is exactly what the actual update notes say - removing. —Dr Ishmael Diablo the chicken.gif (talk|contribs) 02:34, 22 December 2006 (CST)

In the Update notes it says 'Wintersday collectors and quest NPCs have been added to Lion's Arch, Ascalon City and Kamadan., But correct me if I am wrong, in Droknars Forge are new collectors to. Nexceven 08:48, 22 December 2006 (CST)

Template Sorting[edit source]

Okay I just found out that my Template list is now automaticly sorted with all my primary profession templates at the top instead of alphabeticly. I'm not sure which update it was but I've got the idea it was this update or one from the beginning of the Winterfest update. Nexceven 09:10, 22 December 2006 (CST)

There is a note of it somewhere among the latest updates, a Guildwiki note. — Stylva (talk)(contribs) 11:35, 22 December 2006 (CST)

Conditions[edit source]

Didn't it always say that? — Skuld 14:10, 23 December 2006 (CST)

No, it had vogue description such as "Suffers from health degeneration" or "Your attacks have a high chance to miss". ~Poke 13:38, 24 December 2006 (CST)
I thought it always said 90%... Then again once you get used to the icon you don't hover over it for text, so I don't know. Kessel 16:23, 24 December 2006 (CST)
I'm pretty sure your right, cause I have known blind to be 90% since I was first blinded....and I just checked, poison says something along the lines of "You will lose health over time". So I dont think anything has changed. --Mwpeck 11:40, 25 December 2006 (CST)
The descriptions for Bleeding, Disease, Poison and Weakness are as vague as they were before. I think it's only Blind. -- Gordon Ecker 02:41, 27 December 2006 (CST)

Introduced a bug that would cause the game to crash whenever someone disconnected on purpose.[edit source]

Whats that note about, does anyone know any more details about it? The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xeon (contribs) 00:54, 28 December 2006.

See Karlos' post here regarding their monk d/cing himself on purpose and returning. If the client closes, it seems very unlikely that the reconnect option would still work, sort of like Volatile Memory. — Gares 00:36, 28 December 2006 (CST)
That doesn't mention anything about the game crashing because the monk reconnected on purpose or am i missing something? -- Xeon 00:47, 28 December 2006 (CST)

Highly salvageable[edit source]

Someone added a note saying you could not remove highly salvagable inscriptions from items anymore. I assume they picked up a Canthan or Tyrian item and mistook it. Since the update I can confirm that I've removed a Measure for Measure from a weapon. - BeXoR Bexor.png 07:16, 29 December 2006 (CST)

Collapsible Note..[edit source]

Can someone explain what the note before last means? --Karlos 07:21, 29 December 2006 (CST)

Umm, I tried to reword the horrible sentence structure but it didn't work. I can't even understand the last sentence enough to reword it. :S - BeXoR Bexor.png 07:42, 29 December 2006 (CST)
Ok, I think he is trying to say that search groups from ALL languages (in Europe) appear in the Party Search feature, even if you have language filter on. And that if you start a party under any language, it will appear for everyone else. As I do NOT have a European account I cannot confirm that. I tried between American and International and it did not work. Can anyone with a Euro account confirm this? --Karlos 12:44, 29 December 2006 (CST)
Just tested this on my euro account, and that's close, but not quite right. Apparently the party search window shows the number of groups for each of those categories regardless of which district they are in, even though it doesn't show the groups themselves. To illustrate, filtered, not filtered.--Dirigible 13:07, 29 December 2006 (CST)
Can you reword the note then, please? --Karlos 15:00, 29 December 2006 (CST)
Would have done so already if I were confident that I could properly explain it without resorting to pictures, but giving it a whirl, I guess. Is it any clearer now? --Dirigible 15:27, 29 December 2006 (CST)
Looks fine, Thank you. --Karlos 01:01, 30 December 2006 (CST)

Rewording of the sunspear battle cry[edit source]

I've haven't seen anything mentioned of this but: The sunspearbattlecry icon now say's "Your maximum health increases to that of a level 20 character" haven't got a picture of it online yet, because my upload speed is near to 0 :(--|\/| /-\ ''|'' 18:29, 29 December 2006 (CST)

This was implemented a while back. A few weeks I think. --Karlos 01:00, 30 December 2006 (CST)
Yep, that change has been around for maybe a month or so. Kessel 11:47, 30 December 2006 (CST)

Funny that i never noticed it... At least that overpowerd ele boss has been tuned down in that time i haven't been there :) --|\/| /-\ ''|'' 14:56, 30 December 2006 (CST)

Plus they got rid of his double. :P Boy that was fun then though haha. Only if you were lvl 20 tho. :S - BeXoR Bexor.png 03:35, 31 December 2006 (CST)

New drops from Acolytes[edit source]

Is this the update that the new Acolyte drops were added in? Anyone know of a previous time any of them dropped greens? I solo'd Balt's for quite a while a month or so back with no results, and all the greens were added to wiki just after this update. All of the mobs around the Acolytes were modified slightly as well (Paragons added, some Zealots are now warriors instead of Dervish, other similar changes). Zdain 07:47, 31 December 2006 (CST)

This one is the update you are looking for: Game updates/20061220. Under Bug Fixes you'll see "Fixed a bug that prevented the following bosses from dropping their unique items: Acolyte of Balthazar, Acolyte of Dwayna, Acolyte of Grenth, Acolyte of Lyssa, and Acolyte of Melandru."--Dirigible 08:00, 31 December 2006 (CST)
