Finally, all the alliance members wanting to get ferried everywhere was getting so annoying especially from one who has a character with every single outpost and town and they known you have them.--Gigathrash sig G.jpgìğá†ħŕášħTalk^Cont 07:14, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

there was a 2 and a half hour discussion on the legitimatcy of this technique in my alliance chat, it when something like this:
P1: "can you ferry me from Shing Jea to Raisu palace?"
P2: "no, it's exploiting, but i'll help with the missions"
P1: "but everyone is doing it"
P2: "doesn't matter, it's againt the spirit of the game, and your only cheating yourself out of the experience"
P1: "but EVERYONE is doing it"
P2: "just cause everyone is wrong doesn't make it right"
P1: "BUT EVERYONE IS DOING IT!" and repeat as spam ad nausium.
i'm glad they closed this hole, just wish they'd give a token ban to anyone who did this, just to show everyone they're serious. 48 hours or something. --Honorable Sarah Honorable Icon.gif 07:23, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Agreed, ANet only seems to punish people for exploits when they "affect the economy" (trader market crash/minipet duping) or break EULA (bots, but we all know how effective that is). Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 07:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Im betting that if they could punish people for this, they would. But as it was impossible for them to keep a record of these things happening, there is no way for them to know. Also, this could affect the economy because you could teleport to the final placce in a campaign, get somebody to beat it 4 u, and get a end-campaign weapon in about 7 minutes. To sell the end-game greens, there has to be a DEMAND for those items. Those greens are generally terrible, so nobody would buy them anyways, thus wasting time. 21:44, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree that it ruins the whole fun and storyline of the game but you've gotta be laughing when u see some guy in LA say, "running to Fire islands from LA for 2k(under 5 mins)." Lol.--Nocturnal 17:47, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
