Doesnt this also give 150 gold?--Life Infusion 18:40, 23 May 2006 (CDT)

Bug?[edit source]

In the Walkthough section it states: "If one that you've already recruited dies, you can use a replacement recruit from those remaining.", yet then the Bug section says: "There is a bug that occurs if you let a recruit or two die, but the journal still considers those recruits towards the quest goal.". Surely these two statements oppose each other? The In the Army (Luxon) quest has the same claim, and wondering which is the actual case for that one too. Will test next time I get the chance, unless someone else can beat me to it. :) --Wolfie Wolfie sig.jpg (talk|contribs) 20:21, 1 March 2007 (CST)

Both can be true. The bug is not always predictable. I just had one recruit die, and the bug kicked in, causing the recruit to be interpreted as still active. The quest log shows I need 0 recruits, no other recruits will follow me, but no reward is possible. --Alphastream 17:43, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm an Assassin![edit source]

My brother just picked up this quest, and the Kurzick Assassin Recruit is a Monk! Weird. -- Dashface Dashface.png 07:34, 29 March 2007 (CDT)

If I recall correctly, think you will find all the "Kurzick <profession> Recruits" are actually monks. --Wolfie Wolfie sig.jpg (talk|contribs) 21:03, 29 March 2007 (CDT)
There is, of course, nothing weird about this. Characters in Guild Wars often have two professions. There's nothing at all odd about an assassin being a monk. Still trying to figure out why people are always surprised by stuff like this... --76.113.200.14 02:34, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Well the fact that all of them are Monks, yet they wield swords and do normal melee damage, implies triple professions Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 02:48, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Or terrible gimmick builds. Rsz PLSig.jpg 03:14, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
Those aren't swords, they're sharp, pointy, extremely short-range wands.  :D --76.113.200.14 05:21, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
