Phoenix as a related skill[edit source]

I'm undecided, I set Inferno as a related skill to Phoenix since Phoenix is basicaly Fireball + Inferno in the same package. Zulu Inuoe 06:16, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

I think not; you would see Inferno/Flame Burst as related since they're used for the same purpose and can replace each other. Phoenix? Nah... Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 06:18, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Right, thanks. Zulu Inuoe 06:33, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Why..[edit source]

Why are all the Necro's and Eles I see in RA or AB, or Fort Aspenwood using this with NOTHING around them, thinking it's long range? The same bloody thing happens with Unholy Feast. I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering what is so confusing about the skill description? Hell, I once had one for a team-mate who kept casting it over and over again, thinking it was missing. LOL! You must get partied with some exceptional nubs, the only time I see people using this w/o it hitting is when the opponent moves. Except for the very rare super-idiot, but I tend to ignore them. --Shadowcrest 00:30, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
maybe cause some lags prevent you from getting the right pos of foes?
No, they casted it as their second or third spell, always while out of range (They didn't even try getting in range in the first place. Anyway this skill might be usable now that it doesn't have that pesky aftercast. Zulu Inuoe 02:29, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
It's quite easy to make that mistake. I made it a lot in PvE as well since I missed the fact that it didn't say "adjecent to target" but just "adjecent" :) Winterbay 08:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

=D I admit to making the same mistake early on, originally thinking that activating the skill would make me move into range (I was a nub, be forgiving ^^!), but now, the Starburst-Inferno-Flame Burst chain is looking very sexy indeed. --BeeD 04:07, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

"Why are all the Necro's and Eles I see in RA or AB, or Fort Aspenwood using this with NOTHING around them, thinking it's long range?"

- May be because it is restoring their life. Aura of restoration works on spell costs when it casts, and it's worth it sometimes to cast it just for the health gain.

Kinda dumb... but ok. --Shadowcrest 22:37, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
