i dont believe this should be classified as a sword even though guildwars does...[]

this "sword" is basiclly a stick(does blunt damage and is quite small), i dont understand why you can use skills such as seveer artery and gash with this stick sword...just pointing this out ;) The preceding unsigned comment was added by 207.216.134.172 (contribs) 00:45, 6 July 2006.

If you can use sword-skills with it, it's a sword. See also Ogre-Slaying Knife, Fiery Dragon Sword and Icy Dragon Sword which are other non-standard swords that are still for all intents and purposes, swords. --Black Ark 19:53, 5 July 2006 (CDT)
If the game classifies it as a sword, so do we. If you want to talk about the real world weapon, I would suggest doing so here: Jitte. --Rainith 19:56, 5 July 2006 (CDT)

Luxon territory[]

Locations does not mention this is obtainable from luxon areas. I got one from a Luxon Chest...should that be mentioned? --Turaak 12:53, 20 August 2006 (CDT)

Axel of Streets of Rage is known to use a jitte.[]

this should be removed. Foo 19:09, 11 January 2007 (CST)

Actually, I've taken a closer look, and this seems as vandalism or a senseless joke. Foo 19:10, 11 January 2007 (CST)

I'm fairly sure Axel of Streets of Rage did use a jitte.Narcism' 19:18, 11 January 2007 (EST)

I agree, please stop removing the picture please.--Kellogs 19:14, 11 January 2007 (CST)

That's no reason for mentioning it in the article. Foo 19:16, 11 January 2007 (CST)

I think you'll find Axel plays GW , so he could have been an inspiration.--Kellogs 19:26, 11 January 2007 (CST)

I still don't understand how it's anyless of a trivia tidbit then: "In Guild Wars it is used like a regular sword, whereas in real life a Jitte is used as a defensive weapon carried in the offhand. It is designed to block the opponent's sword blade, catch it with the one-pronged hilt, and snap it off to disarm him or her." Narcism' 19:18, 11 January 2007 (EST)

I would keep discussing this if it wasn't for the attached pic. this is a mockery. please stop. Foo 19:24, 11 January 2007 (CST)

It's just a silly fact....

Inscribable Jitte[]

I PMed someone who found a req9 on guru. They said it drops inscribable ones form the HOH chest. --» Life Infusion«T» 12:07, 15 May 2007 (CDT)

The chest can drop anything, so you can potentially anything inscribable. --Fyren 23:10, 15 May 2007 (CDT)

Dropped by Sickened Guard in Minister Cho's Estate (explorable). --Aozora Aozora 03:37, 15 July 2007 (CDT)

Wow, can you even create a sword with blunt damage with pvp character? If not, it should.

Trivia[]

Snap off their sword blades, eh? Good luck with that. ;D 67.86.141.73 02:04, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
