Talk:Jungle Troll

W/R?[edit source]

Note: Despite being Warriors these trolls can use Troll Unguent, a Ranger skill.

Doesn't that make them Warrior / Rangers? We have no way of proving they don't have a secondary profession and one significant piece of evidence suggesting that they do. -- Gordon Ecker 22:29, 24 July 2006 (CDT)

Um, I see them as simply Warriors who are trolls. With the exception of Monk in general and Mesmer in pre-searing, it doesn't really make sense to have pick a secondary just for the sake of a healing skill. -User:PanSola (talk to the Follower of Lyssa.png) 23:08, 24 July 2006 (CDT)
I think they are W/R anyway. I don't think there's a difference between players having 2 professions and monsters. Does anyone know of any other creatures in the game that seem to have 2 professions, too?
I doubt the same skill rules applies to mobs. For example, Mountain Trolls use axe and hammer skills at the same time. I don't think it would be so far fetched to say that outside of bosses, monsters have no definite profession other than the one implicitely defined by the skills they use. --Theeth Assassin (talk) 11:50, 31 August 2006 (CDT)
That sounds like a concensus. The Nameless Masters and most or all of the foes from Zaishen Challenge and Zaishen Elite also have skills from two professions. -- Gordon Ecker 22:08, 6 September 2006 (CDT)

Locations[edit source]

According to the bestiary on the Silverwood page there are Jungle Trolls there too, though Silverwood is not on the list of the locations in this page. (And I remember having seen them in Silverwood.) I guess it should be added?
