- Kai's manner of incorporating skill names into his speech as puns seems to be an homage to wp:Gene Shalit, a movie critic who does the same with movie titles. Kai Ying at Vizunah Square[]
K, so I was doing Master's at Vizunah Square, and after (finally) getting an opposing team that wasn't a bunch of lvl 12 narutards, I set about doing the mission. On the opposing team - all hench, btw - there was Kai Ying, happy as ever. During one fight, I happened to click on Kai and - to my surprise - he was casting Fireball! Naturally, I was all, like, WTF?, so I observed him as much as I could for the rest of the mission. His skillbar was very much a Fire bar - Fireball, Mind Burn, Firestorm, Searing Heat (Tyrian only... lol wut?), Incendiary Bonds and (I can assume) Fire Attunement.
I have screenshots of Ying-turned-pyromaniac if anyone wants proof, and unless there are objections... I'll add it as a note for now. You guys can do some research on him, add his skillbar, etc. if you feel the need... Just a heads-up. For reference though - it only appears to be this way if he is one of the 'hench', if the opposing team is ALL hench. Otherwise, he appears to be his normal, Dagger-spamming self. Storm out. Could he be set with Cynn's skillbar when recruited in the Foreign Quarter?
