Spell or Skill? Unclear to me...
Tested it with Dancing Daggers, the range is full spell range and NOT touch. Not that the description says it is, but one is never immediately sure when it comes to Assassin skills. -Flypaper
- It never actually said it was touch range in the desctiprion. Silk Weaker 04:53, 19 September 2006 (CDT)
...that's what I said. However, the name is confusing enough that I thought it was worth pointing out. -Flypaper
It's a nice cripple spell, one of the longest lasting times w/out being a trap. -Isidore
Anyone else agree? I don't see it being used ever. EVER. And black mantis thrust is better even leaping mantis is better. But beyond the minimal effect it also has a 15 SECOND RECHARGE. pathetic spell. --The Gates Assassin 16:48, 23 July 2007 (CDT)
- I dont see whats wrong with it, its great anti kite age , what use is cripple if you can already reach your foe? This is full range and cant be stopped by normal melle counters. Only problem is getting the lead attack and the lack of damage...--Diddy Bow 15:27, 28 July 2007 (CDT)
- Exactly, until there is a lead attack with a spell range this is completely useless, even in that situation I wouldn't use this. It's just plain a weak skill that never ever gets used even in noob's builds. 0 dmg, useless for a combo, its an offhand snare, explain that one to me, it has spell range but so what? Siphon speed absolutely kills this in every catagory. Hexes are harder to remove then a condition, it has a lower recharge, it gives you a speed buff and snare them, and it if you think about it they are moving 66# slower because you are moving 33% faster as well as they are moving 33% slower. See my point? its the worst snare in the game. period. --The Gates Assassin 02:45, 26 August 2007 (CDT)
Explain how this is a "great snare combination" with dark prison? Forgot to sign--Darksyde Never Again 15:36, 21 September 2007 (CDT)
