Talk:Morale boost

I was about to move this to morale boost, and move Death Penalty to death penalty, in the interests of Case Crusade, but I'm not sure if I should. Were this the name of a skill then these names would be correct, and they do describe a state in the game. Does anyone know of any reference within the game that does not use title case? <LordBiro>/<Talk> 03:06, 4 Aug 2005 (EST)

Holding control and clicking a Death Penalty or a Morale Boost makes your character say something like "I have a 15% Death Penalty!" with capitalisation just the way I have typed it. Therefore we should probably refer to it in the way the game does. - Roofle

I moved Death Penalty before thinking about in-game capitalization, as surely ArenaNet wouldn't put something as silly as death penalty in title case. Of course, I was wrong. There's an argument on GuildWiki talk:Style and formatting about ignoring ArenaNet's random capitalization rules and instead focusing only on the English language, let's focus there. —Tanaric 16:41, 9 Aug 2005 (EST)

Anybody know how that argument did end? I'm too lazy too look it up in the archives. :o] --84-175 (talk) 04:34, 30 March 2006 (CST)

An anonymous editor added that morale boost recharges your skills. It is true that when you kill a boss or ghostly hero, you get a morale boost and your skills recharge. But you can also get a morale boost from the gods' avatars. Can someone see if this recharges skills? --Fyren 10:34, 15 Sep 2005 (EST)

Confirmed. Walked to the statue of Lyssa outside Ascalon city and used a spell, paid 100 bucks to get my skills recharge. Lyssa is a scammer! :) --Karlos 15:21, 15 Sep 2005 (EST)

Capitalization revisited[edit source]

It looks like the discussion on capitalization keeps coming and going. I'm not actually strongly opinioned about either; but it does annoy me that we have different capitalization between Death penalty and Morale Boost. Can at least these two articles be synced? I'm at work, or else I would work on it. -- 06:36, 30 March 2006 (CST)

Order[edit source]

I thought perhaps I should mention that Morale Boosts from killing bosses seem to be added after the experience is gained from the kill. At first it was slightly confusing as to why I jumped from -1% to +2% having killed only a boss monster; this seems the most likely reason. Could anyone else corroborate this? -arual 11:50, 12 February 2007 (CST)

untouched[edit source]

you can get a morale boost even if you're near a boss killed by other foes. I didn't touch a yeti boss but when the Sensali killed him as I run past, I got the morale boost. — JediRogue JediRogueSig.jpg 14:02, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
