There's a tab for health, and there's a tab for morale, so what, exactly, is the "status" tab? 09:55, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Same as Health for what I know. --- Ohaider! -- (contribs) (talk) 10:12, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
So does "team" include NPCs etc.? While they are somewhat similar, the "health" and "status" lines are different enough to make me think it's not just health. Does it incorporate hexes/conditions your team is suffering? 10:15, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
The Status starts higher and ends lower, iirc. Haven't found any differences other than that. --- Ohaider! -- (contribs) (talk) 10:17, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Seems about right, though inverted. The Health is more exaggerated and expands from the top of the chart to the bottom, while Status seems to be (approximately) the same lines, just more compressed to the middle-ish of the chart. Feels like there has to be some difference, though; why would they make two tabs that show exactly the same thing? 10:30, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
After spectating a match and keeping an eye on the line comparisons and capturing some screenshots, there's definitely a difference between Status and Health. Health probably has a large part of dictating which way your Status is going, but is not all Status takes into account. Here's an early capture from a GvG I spectated: [1]
I drew some straight lines through the two charts to show where only one intersection happened between the red and blue lines on Status, while the two lines overlapped several times under Health. Here's another interesting comparison from later in the same match: [2]
Here, the Status and Health are wildly different. They follow similar curves and spikes, but are vastly off kelter of one another. I'm very interested in what Status represents, but how to research this? 10:50, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
I changed the images to links to preserve readability :) Anyhow, I'm really interested in what creates this difference... Maybe Health only counts Total Health in %, and Status in # (thus factoring in DP)? --- Ohaider! -- (contribs) (talk) 11:08, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah, much better. Don't know much about wikicode, thanks. As for % vs. #, not a bad theory, but it'd be pretty difficult to test, no? Unless you had an eye on every player's actual health number during a match, I don't know how you'd test it. Seeing as how the large differential didn't happen until later into that match and the entire Red line spiked up a stable amount for the next five minutes, it would be a reasonable assumption that Red morale boosts contributed to it. Maybe it's not % vs. # but simply some integrated calculation of (morale)+(health)=(status)? 12:03, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
