Monk / Paragon and Monk / Dervish... Any thoughts? --Arcady 12:40, 11 November 2006 (CST)

Vital boon on derv — Skuld 21:45, 11 November 2006 (CST)

Vital Boon and Conviction (hard to use this without Energizing Finale on you), or "Incoming!" on a prot Mo/P when other elites don't seem right — Skuld 07:46, 17 November 2006 (CST)

May I clean this article up? There are many skills you missed. Though less popular, they exist. Readem (talk*contribs) 12:44, 6 May 2007 (CDT)

Monk/ranger[edit source]

I seriously dissagree with natural stride being useful for monks, sure its a good defensive skill...if you max it, without maxing it its like 3-4 seconds at 4-7 ws. not the best choice for a monk. I would rather go warrior secondary but putting natural stride isnt good enough, if anyone agrees maybe someone could remove it or put another skill there? cheers. 15:53, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

natural stride incorporates an IMS and increases your defensive capabilities in one skill. If you went warrior secondary, you'd need 2 skills to achieve the same affect. Sure you might need to invest slightly more in NS, but it also has a shorter recharge... 15:59, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Every Monk in AB/CM uses Nat Stride or Escape, because it's good. Spammable, cheap, decent duration (you won't be spiked for >3 seconds, so 5 sec is plenty), and doesn't end on skill use. --- Ohaider! -- (contribs) (talk) 16:01, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Speed + block is good. Add in fast recharge, even better. And as long as it can take off the pressure when it's needed the most, it's even better. --JonTheMon 16:03, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
