Just checking, did the info that the Tengu Wars was a war between the Tengu and the Naga came from the pre-order manual? Or is it just inferred by the "return" of Naga on the day of celebration? -PanSola 15:13, 22 April 2006 (CDT)
- The latter. I haven't received my preorder package yet from Amazon, so no idea about what the manual contains. — Stabber 15:15, 22 April 2006 (CDT)
- In that case, I want to make the case that the French could've picked July 4th, when all the Americans are celebrating, to make a "return" to the North American continent. I'm not saying I believe the Tengu Wars was NOT between Tengu and Naga, I'm saying I believe the Tengu Wars was not necessarily between the Tengu and the Naga. Besides, if it were between the Tengu and the Naga, it'd make more sense to call it the Tengu-Naga wars (or Naga-Tengu wars), unless the war was named from the perspective of the viled Naga, in which case calling it/them simply "the Tengu Wars" would make sense.
- Because these semantic details have been critized as counter-productive, I'm just stating my case and leaving it be, unless new information is revealed that was not available before. -PanSola 15:24, 22 April 2006 (CDT)
