Can someone fill in the prerequisite quest? I forgot to visit these pages at the start of the quest line :( Couldn't remember the name of it. Infinity 01:28, 25 August 2007 (CDT)

Intermediate Dialogue

You will be removed from your party to battle Byorn Thunderfist in the brawling championship. Are you ready?

Byorn? If he actually says that, it will need [sic]. If not, it'll need changing to Bjorn. ~Nahka~ 06:41, 27 August 2007 (CDT)

Origin[edit source]

While we have it listed that the quest title is a reference to kung-fu films, I figure it's more likely a reference to "The Rumble in the Jungle", aka Foreman vs. Ali. SarielV 06:59, 31 August 2007 (CDT)

Jackie Chan's "Drunken Master" main antagonist is called Thunder Leg - maybe a reference to him since the name of the quest suggests a parody on kung fu films. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.36.154.240 (contribs) 02:21, 7 September 2007.

Muhammad Ali, a renowned boxer, had 2 major publicity fights, "Rumble in the Jungle" against George Foreman, and "Thrilla' in Manilla" against Joe Fraizer. Seeing as the entire dwarven brawling system is based around boxing, uses boxing terms for the skills(Brawling Hook, Brawling Jab, Brawling Uppercut, Brawling Straight Right, Brawling Combo Punch, Low Blow) and conditions(Knocked Out, Dazed), not to mention it's called flat-out "Dwarven Boxing" on the wiki page, it seems rather absurd to say the title has anything to do with "Kung Fu Films". In addition, Bjorn's quotes are similar to quotes by Ali. I changed it. Plactus 22:52, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

no damage?[edit source]

I dunno what I'm doing wrong, but I keep trying to use the brawling skills and I consistently do ZEROs damage while he beats the crap out of me... O_O Any tips for a necromancer? I tried using max daggers with a Necro/Sin 12 dagger mastery, didn't help at all. RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG.jpg 06:14, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Max daggers? That doesn't sound like you're using the brass knuckles. It should be in your inventory. --Kale Ironfist 06:50, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
So, you have to use the knuckles, not just any daggers? RoseOfKali RoseOfKaliSIG.jpg 06:52, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
You HAVE to use the knuckles. Although I've heard Vampiric weapons work too. Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 07:17, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
Vampiric isn't worth the time. 3 per hit is terrible. I know, because I didn't know you needed the knuckles (didn't even know he gave knuckles), so switched to my vamp sword (first time around anyway). --Kale Ironfist 00:03, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

rose you need to use the brass daggers they are the only wep that hurts him
