Talk:To Sorrow's Furnace

Repeatable?[edit source]

Ok, the quest has been around for quite some time now, and I've never found a straight answer to this: Can you repeat To Sorrow's Furnace or the subquests once you accept the reward for it? (after doing all four subquests and getting the 10,000 exp reward for the whole thing) --Maoric 00:33, 18 February 2007 (CST)

You can repeat all the subquests (Alkar, Oro, Kilroy, Galen) as much as you want. Farmers often do this. Iirc the actual To Sorrow's Furnace quest can't be repeated. I think that's because after completing it you get The Final Assault instead. Maybe once you finish that...but I don't think so. Entropy Sig.jpg (T/C) 00:35, 18 February 2007 (CST)
I have found that the overarching quest is not repeatable, as even after completion of the Final Assault, that is the only option when speaking to the Dwarven Prospector. Only the subquests are repeatable. HanokOdbrook 09:31, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

You can also get this quest from him when he's near "Grenth's Footprint" portal from Spearhead Peak.

Bugged[edit source]

Im here doin it today I've finished Galen and Kilroy, instead of sayin "Find Oro somewhere in GF, it says Find Kilroy (whic I already finished).

Also, I recently found a bug. Once you get High Priest Alkar to follow you to the Furnace, he will heal the enemies you fight until you enter Sorrow's Furnace.

That's not really a bug; many NPC monks in Prophecies will do that. It's annoying, though. Felix Omni Signature.png 22:12, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
