Skills[edit source]

Confirmed by SoC on 1/17/06. --Rainith 22:59, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

Stats[edit source]

He creates level 11 GC spirits, limiting his attribute points in Wilderness Survival to 16 or 17 (probably 16). --Erszebet 12:19, 4 April 2007 (CDT)

Actual Meaning[edit source]

His name means "I blush with good health". rubor is a deponent VERB and valetudo is in the ablative case (ablatvie of instrument, the good health is being "used"). I changed it in the article.

Although... Vale Tudo (space in the middle) is unarmed combat with few rules, usually mixed martial arts.--Salamandra 07:20, 13 May 2007 (CDT)
rubor, -oris, f means redness and is a noun. valetudo, -inis, f means good health, that's correct. these are two nouns in nominative case, so no relationship. rubor can't be derived from rubeo (which means 'get red', 'blush'). it would have to be 'rubeor'. rubor as such does not exist as a deponent verb. - Y0_ich_halt Y0 ich halt logo.jpg contribs 10:20, 22 July 2007 (CDT)
Bit random to mention tbh, but although it explains the likelihood of what "Valetudo" and "Rubor" mean, it isnt mentioned that it is in fact because they are both latin words. Could someone add a note/agree/disagree? Xav 01:37, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
if you meant that the note doesn't say it's latin, there you go. ^^ - Y0_ich_halt Y0 ich halt logo.jpg contribs 16:26, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Heh, coolio. Just realised that all the Titan bosses in Hell's have the same trend.....methinks ill sneak the note in em Xav 20:27, 24 December 2007 (UTC)

Spawning rarity[edit source]

He is the last of my elites to cap and I am finding him to be a rare spawn. I've done HP 9 times now and he has yet to spawn anywhere on the map.

Are you killing 4 bosses per mapping (4 chances in 5 of finding VR)? Or just killing the first you find (1 chance in 5)? The odds of missing him in 9 tries (of 1 kill) are about 13% = [1 - (80%)^9]. If you kill all four spawns in two visits (so 8 boss kills instead of 9), your odds of missing are only 4% = [1 - 20%^2].   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 05:46, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
I'm killing all the bosses to the portals where he should've been.
I'm not sure what you mean by to the portals. How many bosses are you killing during the mission?   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 09:08, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
I persume he means the part where Titans walk out of the lava pit towards the three portals (second spawn from the left; 2 bosses spawn there, one more in the open). --- VipermagiSig.JPG -- (contribs) (talk) 10:46, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
