Talk:Whiptail Devourer

I don't mean to overload this wiki with images, but I added the icons for skills and items to this article, and I quite like the result. What do you think? If the majority likes this, I will expand this as I work through more articles. --Tetris L 00:18, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)

(Note: Karlos wrote the answer before I asked the question.)

I love the skill icons, I don't really like the item icons unless we can guarantee the length of those icons is standardized. The list looks dumb with one long icon and one short icon. --Karlos 00:09, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)
The px image parameter refers to the width, not height. The icons don't have a standardized height-width ratio. So we can only have either the same width, or the same height. I prefer width. However, this is a minor issue to me. I like the icons even with slight difference in height. --Tetris L 00:18, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)
Looks good. I'm in favour of icons, generally. But is it possible to give the images a border? Just for aesthetic reasons. 00:22, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)
I like this too. I'm planning on get pics for a bunch of the Collector Items too, I've just been busy recently with other stuff. --Rainith 01:12, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)
When you get the pics, make sure to have them in squares so that when we control their width we also control their height. --Karlos 05:33, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)
Slightly more difficult to do as the item icons are more of a rectangle than a square (taller than they are wide). --Rainith 05:45, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)
Dude! Cut in a few extra pixels when you are cutting the image of the item out of a screen cap. What's wrong wid joo? :) --Karlos 08:46, 15 Oct 2005 (EST)

Would it be worth mentioning in the note that prior to a certain update (perhaps someone can help with which) the Whiptails (and possibly other ranger-class Devourers) fired arrows from their tails, rather than the stingers we see these days (as far as I remember... been a while since I fought one). So apart from a bucket-load of uncertainty on my part, what are other people's thoughts? Mokushiroku no Yami 07:27, 16 March 2009 (UTC)
