I just want to say: The LA and Kamadan quest chains are terrible. They're boring, grindy quests that have you running across Tyria/Istan and the rewards suck (especially LA). It's more rewarding to just play in the snowball fights. These quests are the proverbial lump of coal for every GW player. Anet should update them or just take them out if they're not going to bother making them worthwhile to do. Compared to Halloween, the Wintersday quests are a total letdown and this is supposed to be the biggest of the seasonal events... 126.96.36.199 04:26, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- It helps the players to do these simple quests to farm for party, sweets, and alcohol points. Easy and quick. The big events are the Snowball Dominance (for vanguard points), and other multi-player quests, plus that one that gives a miniature Polar Bear. 188.8.131.52 05:18, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- I felt the Kamadan quests were quite worthwhile (as always), as were some in EotN. Across nine characters I ended up with more than 450 Gifts. The only sucky part was dealing with all the virtual wrapping paper after opening all of them at one sitting. Phew!--Cogito 19:10, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
It seems like Districts numbered higher than 80 don't get a "visit". The last two times I entered (3AM and 9AM PST) I got into Dist 83 and 95 just after the hour (no more than 3 minutes late). After 45 min. of gabbing with the locals there was no visit, no games, no rewards. --Cogito 19:10, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
