Description

This box is intended for use on articles about in-game locations such as regions, towns or explorable areas.

Usage

The template follows the standard call with named parameters.

{{location box|parameter=value|...}}

Required parameters

campaign: The name of the campaign in which this location was introduced, should be one of Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, or Guild Wars Eye of the North without any wikifying squared brackets.
type: the type of this location, such as Region, Town or Explorable area, etc, given by standard [[...]] syntax
parent: the name of the superlocation in which this location is contained, given by standard [[...]] syntax

Optional parameters

name: the name displayed at the top line of the location box, default is {{PAGENAME}}
image: an image displayed within the location box, given by standard [[Image:...]] syntax, default is [[Image:{{PAGENAME}}.jpg|128px]]
neighbors: a comma-separated list of neighboring locations, default is None
map: a map to display at the bottom of the location box, given by standard [[Image:...]] syntax. Be careful not to include any '=' characters in the Image tag, as this will break the template.
levels: Amount of levels if location is a dungeon. If parameter isn't used, level information will not be shown.

For instance, the following box can be used for Ascalon City (Pre-Searing).
