Template talk:Proposed policy

Good idea, but a template for this was already created at [[:template:proposal]]. Both templates have good elements - time to merge? --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:22, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Well, this is just a subst of the dead unfinished/new notice template with the message that I found on three or four policy proposal pages. Since they all had the same {{unfinished|foo}} I just made the text static. This is for new stuff, that one is for changes. Dunno. --Fyren 01:24, 4 December 2006 (CST)
I see your point - it is cleaner to have one for new, and one for changes. No need to merge. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:27, 4 December 2006 (CST)
I suppose they should have the same or similar style. This one is a little closer to Template:Policy, but I don't really care what either end up looking like. Maybe proposal should be named something more descriptive and the category to "proposed policy changes?" --Fyren 01:30, 4 December 2006 (CST)
Yeah, it hadn't occurred to me that there should be two templates, one for proposed policies and one for proposed changes. I will rename [[template:proposal]] to template:proposed change (which I realise is still a little ambiguous) and I will alter the look of this template to match proposed change, since I think it makes sense to use that little hand icon. Although I'm not that fussed about the appearance either.
I think it would make sense to put both templates in the same category. I can't imagine this category being very large. What do you think? <LordBiro>/<Talk> 09:38, 4 December 2006 (CST)
