His name is mentioned by Orrian Historian McClain upon returning the Orrian Text in the Gates of Kryta (mission). Apparently, the Orrian Text turns out to be a passage from LaMounte's Memoirs. Thaddeus LaMounte does not appear elsewhere in the game.
