This page is for the RSVP and times sign up for those who got the peachish ticket that is really gold. The polls will be removed on the 4th whether or not you voted.

People invited[edit | edit source]

People who RSVPed[edit | edit source]

  • what should I bring? wine-in-a-box? spreadable, cheese-flavored non-dairy product? jellied fish loaf?
  • Your Imagination
  • I imagine bringing apple cider, olive bread, and a small teddy bear who has not yet been registered as a sexual offender. 01:47, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

People Who Canceled an RSVP[edit | edit source]

  • Gigathrash, who must have mistakenly used Mendel's clock to set the Wed AM PT target. ;-)

Post your best times here (to be on IRC), with timezone when applicable[edit | edit source]

  • 20:00 UTC and later, I'm usually quite flexible though. That time is 1 pm pacific, I think, since during daylight savings time, San Franciso is at GMT-7. ◄mendel►
  • Ummm, I can do pretty much any time these days, but keep in perspective that I'm on the Pacific coast of the USA (UTC –7). :P -- AudreyChandler 01:51, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Also flexible (except when I'm not ;-). Same timezone as AC (PT/GMT -8 at moment). Preferred times: (a) Mon–Thu 11 pm – 1 am PT (early AM UTC) or (b) other times with a heads-up.   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:54, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Can't do Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00-4:30 (approx.) US Central time. I has summer class. Rehearsals for The King and I are still pretty scarce, since it was just cast, but they'll eat my evenings later this summer. Felix Omni Signature.png 01:16, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Yo, I go to school, so I don't mind if you kick me because you don't like my schedule RandomTime 17:01, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Timezone / schedule table (in UTC)[edit | edit source]

I thought this might help Gigathrash coordinate things. Keeping everything in UTC makes it easier to plan. Some inaccuracies are probably present, since I'm not psychic and don't have access to government studies about the way GuildWiki users spend their time during a 24h period. (Yes, you do: that's what Special:Contributions is for :)

gorgeous! and useful! Riddle me this: can we specify whether unclear is more (or less) unknown than uncertain?
note: I am unavail from this coming Friday 2 pm through Monday 8 am (PDT).   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 06:16, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Unclear means we literally have no clue (because the user said nothing either way about a certain timeframe). Uncertain means the user expressed some... well... uncertainty about that timeframe. -- AudreyChandler 07:04, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
Ah, so unclear is, indeed, is more unknown than uncertain, suggesting that unclear might be the better time slot (at potentially 100% availability) than uncertain (at < than 100% possible). Of course, we can't be certain until the chrononautical probability wave collapses.   — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) The US just switched back to standard time, so it's PST (and 8 hours different again, iirc).

  • The only way to obtain a ticket is to be recommended by one of the users currently with a ticket. Note that The DM does not have a ticket.

Setting[edit | edit source]

It is the 4th. So that means the polls go down. Everything has been decided and I will start constructing the world for the 8th. There will be one main campaign, set in Tyria. Tyria will be only the backdrop, and the campaign will take some aspects from Guild Wars, but remember that this is NOT a Guild Wars RP. You will be suprised by things that will happen that are vastly different from Guild Wars. The time setting will be right after the destruction of The Great Chicken, but before the awakening of Primordus. When making a character, remember to capture this time frame in mind. This means: No Sylvari or Dwarves. Dwarves have minds of stone and could not be made to work in an organized party that is not bent upon wiping destroyers off the face of the map. Sylvari do not exist yet. Prepare your characters for the 8th. Do not matter with numbers, think of back stories and traits. If this is your very first time RPing, then it might just be easier to play a character that shares many of your traits. The people who cannot make it to this period will be added to the story as the party progresses. And remember.

Not all characters will mesh with the party. I have reserved something very... special, for one person that is not a main.

reminder: that was, indeed, fun! Thanks for setting things up. (Looking forward to my 2nd round, everyone else's third.)--  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:29, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
