Optional[ | ]
- Gash after Deadly Rip
- Healing Signet
- Rez of choice
Equipment[ | ]
- armour of your choice (need to test if energy is needed)
- sword (possibly Barbed)
- damage reduction Shield (Stance)
Usage[ | ]
- Enter your stance.
- Hit once to charge AP
- Use AP to charge Riposte
- Deadly Riposte to make them bleed
- Shield Bash to knock them down
- "On Your Knees!" to recharge Stance
- Keep stance up at all times
Counters[ | ]
- Not sure, but Parry and Ripostes should work through blind and don't care about weakness.
- Stance ending skills will hurt a bit.
- Not being attacked will be a downer.
- Running away will be a problem.
Needs[ | ]
Need to test if Parry-Riposte works though stances that block, they say "next attack against" and do not imply that they should hit.- Deadly Riposte works through Block, Evade and Misses due to Blindness.
- Need to test if enough Adrenaline can be built in time to fuel "On you Knees!"
- Need to test energy management and repeatability
- Need to check Attribute point spread
Need to check if Strength adds to Riposte, should not since Riposte should ignore armour.- Strength does not effect Deadly Riposte DMG
Variants[ | ]
Gladiator's Defense instead of Auspicious Parry for a completely different build.

I played with these builds in the NightFall Preview, did not do much testing due to lack of time.

E/D_Chariots_of_Fire[ | ]
Insane running build for Ele
Attributes and Skills[ | ]
Elementalist / Dervish | Attribute Rank |
---|---|
Energy Storage | 11 + 1 |
Earth Magic | 9 + 2 + 1 |
Fire Magic | 7 + 1 |
Earth Prayers | 8 |
Wind Prayers | 4 |
Equipment[ | ]
- +20% Enchantment Duration is important
- HSR helps to get Attunements and Kinetic Armor back if removed.
- Armor with +Energy or +AL while enchanted is perfect.
Usage[ | ]
- Fire off skills backwards from Elemental Attunement to Burning Speed and then run.
- This order results in the best balance of Energy Management and Recharge timing.
- Re-apply Burning Speed as needed.
- Mystic Regeneration will provide 21 Health regeneration so burning is not a problem.
- Use Pious Restoration to Remove up to 2 hexes only when needed (slow hexes only).
- Use Fleeting Stability to counter knockdown.
- Either wait in a safe place for Stability to end (which knocks you down) or end it with Pious Restoration.
- Pious will always end Kinetic Armor first (this is Kinetic's fault and I hope they fix it) so you will need it twice.
- Either wait in a safe place for Stability to end (which knocks you down) or end it with Pious Restoration.
Counters[ | ]
- Enchantment Stripping.
- Diversion
- Interruption (Distracting Shot FTW)
- This build has no Condition removal so Cripple could be a problem.
- This build can tank Burning, Bleeding, Poison and Disease at the same time.
Variants[ | ]
- Ether Renewal can replace Elemental Attunement for more energy in a pinch but may result in more energy pinches.
- Armor of Earth could replace Kinetic Armor for a bit less AL and a speed reduction (limiting you to 22% speed boost)
- This is useful where you will need to remove a lot of hexes or counter a lot of knockdowns as Pious Restoration will end Kinetic Armor
- You could leave out Armor boosts if you feel your healing can cover for you
