WarriorDervish Muttering Drunkard[ | ]

Steady Stance Desperation Blow Drunken Blow "Watch Yourself!" Soldier's Defense Soldier's Strike "Fear Me!" Healing Signet
Attributes[ | ]
Description[ | ]

You will generally find this (un)fortunate addict walking steadily in the back alleys of the local pub, impervious to others, but quite dangerous when angered.

The general behavior of such a foe is to close on the nearest crowd while uttering gibberish burst of insulting shouts and wielding his/her scythe threateningly.

Notes[ | ]

The second shout can be replaced by Wild Blow or a Resurrection Signet.

DervishWarrior Possessed Drunkard[ | ]

Balanced Stance Desperation Blow Drunken Blow Bonetti's Defense Optional Heart of Fury Avatar of Lyssa Healing Signet
Attributes[ | ]
Notes[ | ]

This build is a devious one, not far from the paragon rapper and other fun-intented build, but don't underestimate its potential : either dealing armor penetration or life stealing scythe attacks, while inflicting numerous random long-lasting conditions and staying out of harm from attackers.

Usage[ | ]

Do erratic things! ;)

It is a fun-inspirated build, so feel free to roleplay your state of stupor :

  • taunt your opponents,
  • walk steadily among them or with the assurance of the insane or drunk,
  • deal some multiple blows around you,
  • or ponder the situation while doing some healing meditation,
  • then wander off - bonetti's style - as if not interested anymore... or in, if you're wishing for more...

...until you become the embodiement of a god and strike fear in the heart of the unfaithful.

Tips[ | ]
  • Use long-lasting enhancements skills to fill the optional slots : some ideas are proposed below.
Variations[ | ]
Equipment[ | ]

Counters[ | ]

For the experienced eyes, many weaknesses can be spotted in this build, since it is not designed to fight spellcasters (especially anti-melee, degeneration or life-stealing) without an allied support : so keep your back covered.

Synergy[ | ]

Even if you're a good addition to a team, you still don't have much to combine with your fellow team members, but quite a number of builds are based on conditions anyway and you deal damage like wild fire.

Variants[ | ]

These variant proposals keep the main known druken style principle (skill slots 1 to 4) but focus on changes which could be made to the second part (skill slots 6 and 7, or 5 if needed).

Worship attitude[ | ]

First, you could choose any of the six gods as your patron, but you will have to be really drunk to find that Abaddon's form, probably better to keep your Vow of Silence. As a side-note, each of the avatar has its own advised combo skill usage...

Balthazar[ | ]

Notably, Balthazar's Rage health gains fit wells with Avatar of Balthazar armor and mobility.

Dwayna[ | ]

Avatar of Dwayna is the more versatile form, so any skill might fit. But if you want to stay in the spirit of worship, use this opportunity to Imbue Health to your fellow party members once in a while.

Grenth[ | ]

Since the Avatar of Grenth powers manifest in the attack skills, better arm yourself with an additional one (preferably with low recharge) :

Lyssa[ | ]

Avatar of Lyssa become even more deadly while having an attack-speed enhancing Heart of Fury with a nasty Vampiric scythe readied.

Melandru[ | ]

As everyone knows, the side-effect of Wearying Strike will be cancelled by Avatar of Melandru, nonetheless Chilling Victory situational effects will kick in more often (especially with the energy gain from the build) and deal a lot of cold damage around you.

Silence[ | ]

Between each reapply of your Vow of Silence, cast one of your two long-beneficial enchantments and continue to use the infamous drunken style combo.

Weapon dealer[ | ]
Hammer[ | ]

A Hammer-based build could put a good use to Forceful Blow and deal knockdowns as well as those random conditions, but won't benefit from the AoE effect of the scythe.
