Siva Kazna is a Tyrian born level 20 Necromancer with around 1,100,000 experience. She has completed all the missions up to Hell's Precipice in Tyria, and all the missions up to Gyala Hatchery in Cantha.
She started as a Necromancer/Ranger, using a pet as well as minions, but has since changed to mainly being either a secondary Mesmer or a secondary Monk.
Builds[ | ]
Minion Master[ | ]
(submitted as [N/any Dedicated Minion Master], untested)
I don't see the point of a minion master taking non-minion related skills out into the wild, just concentrate on your little army and leave the rest to everybody else, no matter how much fun rotting flesh is. Bone Fiends are grossly overrated too - ooh, one extra attack every 6 seconds, that makes it OK that they get nuked with the greatest of ease while achieving nothing for everybody else.
Spiteful Shivers[ | ]
Bog standard SS build, gets the job done.
Dessicator[ | ]
(submitted as [N/Me Dessicator], unfavoured)
A really mean build in PvP, seems to work well in random arena battles. Especially brutal against warriors - nothing quite like seeing one run away to wait for the hexes to end, only to die just before they run out. Got voted unfavoured due to energy issues (energy management for this build = not casting everything all the time at everyone, but that concept seems hard to relate). Nightfall will introduce some interesting skills into the mix.
Barbed Ineptitude[ | ]
(submitted as [N/Me Barbed Ineptitude], untested)
Fairly major variation on the Dessicator idea. 13 Curses, 10 Soul Reaping, 12 Illusion Magic and 4 Blood Magic, preferably with an Illusion wand and focus. It looks a bit of a random mess but it's brutally effective. Healing is a bit of a problem, but if you're careful it's comparatively easy to avoid a lot of damage in the first place (Elementalists and health degen are the biggest worries). Zap Warriors, Rangers and Assassins with Ineptitude then pile on the other hexes, stripping any helpful enchantment on the way. Use Imagined Burden as a snare when needed, apply Soul Barbs at the start of a hex chain for an extra 150 damage or so. Can solo the mine outposts, Juggernaut and Gatekeepers, should the chance arise (can you tell I mostly play Luxon?).
Orders Build[ | ]
Just started using this in the Tomb ruins, it's basically a crib of the build in the old B/P Tombs guide. I think it's pretty much there but it could stand some tweaking, I'll experiment a little over the next few runs.
Semi-Theoretical Bomber Build[ | ]
Use a 20/20 Death focus and a +15/-1 Death wand, 16 Death Magic and 13 Soul Reaping. Use Rising Bile ASAP, preferably on a target that's not being attacked by other players. Switch to the party target and use Bitter Chill and Deathly Swarm. Use Animate Bone Minions on corpses, enchant them with Death Nova, then pop them with Putrid Flesh. Emphasis on wide-spread damage and conditions rather than minion mastery.
Theoretical 50/50 Bomber Build[ | ]
Use a 20/20 Death Focus and Wand, 16 Death Magic and 13 Soul Reaping. Pure-MM build so no direct damage skills. 50/50 split between Minions and Horrors, enchant them all with Jagged Bones and Death Nova, then pop them with Putrid Flesh or Taste of Death as the situation dictates. Spreads -11 degen around really easily and can be sustained with a minimum of corpses.
