Hey, just wondering if I could use your "style sheet" for my own character page. I would of course give you credit.--ElPantaloneador 21:49, 17 April 2006 (CDT)

If you look at the history of Nilles' talk page you'll see that he has already said the he "stole" the design from Skuld! :) I think everybodies user page plagorises somebody else's. Except mine, why is that? :P Anyway nice meeting you both, enjoy your time here on the GuildWiki. --Xasxas256 22:04, 17 April 2006 (CDT)
Bah, you stole the idea of making a unique user page from me, Xasxas. — Stabber (talk) 22:19, 17 April 2006 (CDT)
I sooooo didn't, my userpage is fantastically simple yet unique, a modern wonder of wikis, an incredibly helpful starting platform for anyone on this wiki. It's also a wonderful testiment to how a classic stays a classic just like an early 80s Porsche 911, it's had just 6 edits in 6 months, yours Stabber however is now had over 100 edits, it's not even in the same league, you wish you could achieve perfection like me! :P Oh and ah yous looks nice too Nilles. --Xasxas256 23:12, 17 April 2006 (CDT)
Sure, feel free to copy and paste. And thanks for asking! To be honest I didn't even expect people to read my user page, lol. :) --Nilles 03:39, 18 April 2006 (CDT)

Yeah fair enough, those images make it more like a modern 911, technically better but lacking the soul of the classic. :) --Xasxas256 05:35, 13 May 2006 (CDT)

Heh, I need to revamp my site completely, you know, just going with the flow. Who knows? Maybe I'll c&p Gem's? Just kidding. You'll be linked at again with the next update, don't worry. It's been ages since I looked at your user page the last time and I still had the old "design" in mind when clearing the link list. ;) --Nilles 05:44, 13 May 2006 (CDT)
Ooooh yeah, I'm back in business! Oh your page looks nice now too :) I like your user link boxes, I hate the babel ones but yours look nice :) --Xasxas256 21:07, 16 May 2006 (CDT)
Thanks. It was an all-nighter, but it turned out pretty good I think. I still have to tweak the margins a bit, but those are just details. --Nilles 03:06, 17 May 2006 (CDT)

City Under Attack[ | ]

I think I've only suceeded in making City Under Attack look worse now! Still it's ready for when you decide to actually fill the details in :P :P --Xasxas256 23:24, 30 April 2006 (CDT)

I probably didn't make myself clear. I completed the quest without keeping track of it. Since I haven't been dealt another primary quest as follow-up, I'm lacking one right now. I hoped, someone could fill me in, especially concerning follow-up quests. =/ --Nilles 23:47, 30 April 2006 (CDT)

the triangle icons[ | ]

can you redo them in png format for consistency? Thanks -PanSola 23:08, 10 May 2006 (CDT)

Sure. --Nilles 00:26, 11 May 2006 (CDT)

huh?[ | ]

Huh?

hey, Nilles, is this a drawing by you? Foo 04:09, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

No, I just found it somewhere on a forum. --Nilles 11:06, 28 May 2006 (CDT)
it's just a mighty good one :]. nice find. Foo 12:02, 28 May 2006 (CDT)
I think it has been a part of a fanpic contest. I'd love to be able to draw like that. :) --Nilles 13:43, 28 May 2006 (CDT)

[Mo/Me RC Prot][ | ]

You voted only keep, because Aegis is missing. Someone edited Aegis into the skill bar, you might want to check whether you can vote for unstub now. ---Xeeron 08:53, 13 June 2006 (CDT)

I changed my vote. Since I'm not as active on the wiki and gw itself I would have missed it. Thanks for telling me. :) --Nilles 13:27, 14 June 2006 (CDT)

This is a thank you... =)[ | ]

[1] ...cause it soo made my day. --Nilles 19:22, 21 June 2006 (CDT)

Hey bro ;P If the above made your day this (which I had nothing to do with, I'm just bringing it to your attention), has got to make your week! --Xasxas256 22:39, 27 June 2006 (CDT)
Hell yeah! :D ~ Nilles (chat) 05:32, 28 June 2006 (CDT)

Sandbox[ | ]

dunno I see people put links there a lot, I think they're just newbies practising stuff. You can put whatever you want there that's what the sandbox is for :) (Not a fifty five 21:08, 24 September 2006 (CDT))

I suspect it's probably because it's recommended to do so in GuildWiki:How to help/My first article, still it's good to clean out the sandbox every so often. --Xasxas256 21:36, 24 September 2006 (CDT)
Ah, okay. But since all those builds were in the correct category, linking them there is not needed any more I guess. ~ Nilles (chat) 08:03, 25 September 2006 (CDT)

That picture is great! I had a good laugh when I saw it in recent changes =) --Xeeron 16:31, 8 October 2006 (CDT)

Thanks! It took me quite a while to come up with something for you. The background is from an old GW concept render that could have been the crypt of Ashford Abbey. ~ Nilles (chat) 16:56, 8 October 2006 (CDT)

"Contains" categories[ | ]

For the record, I believe Tanaric started these categories a very long time ago :) <LordBiro>/<Talk> 19:10, 8 October 2006 (CDT)

Alright then. I think the categories are a nice idea and such idea would surely fit Tanaric. ;-) ~ Nilles (chat) 19:23, 8 October 2006 (CDT)

"Contains ..." categories[ | ]

For the record... I started those. :) —Tanaric 06:20, 9 October 2006 (CDT)

...also, I'm an idiot for not reading the above first. I could edit this out, but Biro would dig it up and laugh at me anyway. :\ —Tanaric 06:21, 9 October 2006 (CDT)

ROFL at the similarities of those two edits. Are you sure you two are not identical twins separated at birth? --Xeeron 06:55, 9 October 2006 (CDT)
Heh, don't worry, we all have our blind moments. For the record, you two have been here for a really long time. ;-) ~ Nilles (chat) 08:09, 9 October 2006 (CDT)

Speaking your mind[ | ]

Don't let anything stop you from speaking out about something you may think is shady, i.e. your topic on Tanaric's page. You were not the only one to express concerns regarding the votes. You did the right thing. Btw, I like your Ed avatar. I consider myself more of a Jet person myself. :D — Gares 07:37, 9 October 2006 (CDT)

Thanks. I try to be considerate in such matters. People easily feel offended when you accuse them, of course. I'm not much of an Ed person either, maybe more of a Spike one. I guess Ed is rather what I wanted to be. Smart, wild, hacker and having a cool dog... or something like that. ;-) ~ Nilles (chat) 08:09, 9 October 2006 (CDT)
Well, I notified three other admins about the issue. I hope that wasn't too much expressing myself. Let's see how this develops. ~ Nilles (chat) 09:14, 9 October 2006 (CDT)
Hehe, nah. But 2 out of 3 of those you contacted aren't actually admins. :P — Gares 09:24, 9 October 2006 (CDT)
lol, I better stop trying to comprehend the staff system of this wiki then... >_> ~ Nilles (chat) 09:28, 9 October 2006 (CDT)
*grin* list here, pretty abandonned table hereSkuld 09:32, 9 October 2006 (CDT)
Thanks. *puts newb badge on and sits in the corner.* Another Lesson Learned, duh. ~ Nilles (chat) 09:35, 9 October 2006 (CDT)

Ed[ | ]

Ed rocks :D Incidentally, Cowboy Bebop is awesome. <LordBiro>/<Talk> 07:38, 10 October 2006 (CDT)

Of course! Cowboy Bebop was pretty much the best space-anime I've ever seen. And no doubt, Ed is the best hacker character ever imagined by a writer! ~ Nilles (chat) 13:03, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
Hmm I loved Ed in Cowbow Bebop, but the title best space anime is reserved for Irresponsible Captain Taylor. Most hilarious space anime ever. --Xeeron 14:24, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
Cool. Thanks for the tip! ~ Nilles (chat) 15:00, 10 October 2006 (CDT)
Now that's some incredibly weird anime. Weird indeed but in a fairly different way than this, this or this one. That's gonna be interesting... ~ Nilles (chat) 17:59, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
I dont know the first one, and havent seen the second one, but I would rate Irresponsible Captain Taylor higher than Excel Saga. Excel Saga has the "poke fun at different genres" and pure crazyness going for it, but I laughed more while watching Captain Taylor. That there is some story helps as well. The anime I'd say is closest to Captain Taylor is Trigun. --Xeeron 11:33, 12 October 2006 (CDT)
Yay, FLCL!! Seriously though, if you want to see something awesome by GAINAX, the group that produced FLCL, look into Gunbuster and Gunbuster 2. Both are only 6 episodes long and are just as awesome, if not even more so, than FLCL. But if you want to see an Anime Acidtrip then go now and watch Catsoup. Its possible that this show might have the meaning of life hidden somewhere in it, but you'd never find it unless you were majorly wasted or somemthing (jk).— builds Azroth talk 13:24, 12 October 2006 (CDT)
Lol, ty for the numerous recommendations, I'll have a peek at them. However, I really doubt I'll make it through all of these before Christmas. ;) ~ Nilles (chat) 14:07, 12 October 2006 (CDT)

This is a mess![ | ]

Due to bugs on the wiki, I can't use my account right now. In addition, most pages on the wiki show just blank! List of IPs used by me in the meantime: 84.164.122.129 / 84.164.97.153

Are you using Internet Explorer? Cause I'm having the same issue after Explorer downloaded a new version of itself. Oddly enough after posting this issue on Xeeron's talk page it instantly fixed itself after I logged off and then back on. Feel free to delete this post as I know I probably shoulding be talking on your user page— builds Azroth talk 14:23, 13 October 2006 (CDT)
Like on all pages, comments go to the talk page. And no, I'm not using IE and the issue only appears as an anonymous user. Since the session issue has been resolved, I'm inclined to forget about the whole issue and leave it to the sysops. ~ Nilles (chat) 15:12, 13 October 2006 (CDT)

Pyro of Sherwood build[ | ]

Hello, I saw you added and removed a comment on my build. I was just wondering if you removed it due to you not thinking there was a problem with the energy management, or for some other reason. As I said, it was my first build, and i'd be interested in any feedback, good or bad :) Aithris 13:44, 17 October 2006 (CDT)

I removed it because I don't know. You're still with expensive skills, but at least you have energy storage and four energy pips instead of three. I mistook it for a R/E first because we've had quite a few here. A ranger would clearly fail with that skill bar but since it's a primary ele, I just don't know. I can't test it either because I don't have a PvE elementalist. My fingers were quicker than my eyes on this one. ;) What I can tell you is that Lava Font doesn't fit in. You're wasting synergies on having a melee skill there. If you planned on having it to make mobs flee, you should specificially note that in the usage section. ~ Nilles (chat) 16:41, 17 October 2006 (CDT)
Thanks for the info. I've already mentioned using lava font as a deterrent in the usage section, but thanks anyway for the advice :) --Aithris 11:12, 18 October 2006 (CDT)

Mo/Me Healer[ | ]

Monks aren't meant to work solo, so is having only 2 self-heals an issue? I am not sure about that. I assume you're fearing the off chance that you get pressured to much and need to save yourself. Let's see.. [Build:Mo/Me Boon Prot] Has 3 self heals, and CoP, which isn't spammed. And that is only considering that you have Guardian, which is no way staple, as some carry devotion signet instead, which is, being 2 second cast, not good for "emergencies" [Build:Mo/Me PvE WoH Monk|Mo/Me PvE WoH Monk] has, oh look, 2! And both of them heals for less! Hmmm. Heal Party.. is not a self heal. a BL monk only has Spirit Bond, RoF and BL to save itself quickly too, and those added up don't even heal more than two spells from this.

Remember, the spells on the bar are very spammable, and monks work in tandem with others, and you also kite.

Unless you still disagree, please move it back. It is not for you to decide whether a monk should be stubbed or not. Please, next time, vote for a stubbing with the discussion instead of rudely moving it yourself. --218.103.223.165 08:10, 18 November 2006 (CST)

There is no way that Ethereal Light counts as self-heal. It's easily interrupted and that is all: When you need self-healing in PvE, you'll be facing a tremendous amount of enemies, in PvP, you'll usually be the main target of players with IAS. No increasing of cast time is making up for this. ~ Nilles (chat)
