Churning Sandstorm uses Earth spells to inflict high AOE damage realitivly quick. Its also able to help out with Wards while the Damage skills are recharging.

Equipment[ | ]
- A full set of your preferred armor.
- An Earth Aura/Eye of Superior Earth Magic
- A good choice in weapons would be a 20/20 Earth Staff with an Insightful Staff Head and +30 HP staff Wrapping.
- You could also choose to go with a 20 Energy Earth Staff with 20% recharge.
Usage[ | ]
- Maintain Earth Attunement at all times to manage your energy.
- Be Aware that the Damage skills in this build all have a 30 second recharge and a 2 second cast time.
- Don't waste your power attacks on single enemies unless its a boss. Save the AoEs for Groups.
Counters[ | ]
- The most worrisome counter to this build is that enemies may scatter. Leaving an AoE spell active but not dealing Damage.
- Like all Casters Interupts can be a pain. With the Casting time though of the damage spells being at 2 seconds, its more likely to happen than with other casters who use quicker spells.
Variants[ | ]
- Optional Slot Possibilities
- Ward Against Foes Is a good way to slow down the enemy melee chars in the backline allowing yourself and teammates time to react. It can also be used to slow down potential targets if you dont mind getting close.
- Stone Daggers is a spell you can use if you're someone who MUST have something to spam.
- Deep Freeze is a costly way (25 energy) to keep enemies from quickly escaping your AoE spells.
- Resurrect or whatever your preferred resurrect skill is. I would advise NOT bringing rebirth unless you are certain you wont need to be the one constantly resurrecting people.
