Yorii Nwobisa was born in Elona and as such considers herself to be Elonian, despite her parents being from other countries. At a young age, Yorii always would've gotten herself hurt or something and apologized for it, over time developing a habit of apologizing for everything she does be it right or wrong. She was also bullied for a while, being teased about her then pale skin and short stature. She told no one about this though, instead she just kept apologizing. After a near fatal accident with a drake that resulted in her almost loosing her a leg, Yorii started staying indoor more and slowly lost whatever small amount of self confidence she had left.
A chance meeting with one of her many cousins, Diligence Incarnate, pushed her to stop living the way she was and prove that her stature meant nothing and that she could accomplish great things if she tried. So, she joined the Sunspears, hoping to gain strength, courage and to prove to herself that she can do anything she wanted to. She's slowly learning to stand on her own two feet, even if she makes mistakes she learns from them, gets better at things etc. Through her travels around Elona, she's made many new friends. She often says that if these friends didn't push her to go forward when she was feeling down, she would've given up long ago. Now, she's determined to prove to everyone that this lil' girl can do some pretty big things. She might not do them well, but hey, at least she tries.
